AI / ML Engineer

About the role

You will design and ship models and pipelines that read prescriptions, understand context, and surface decisions doctors trust. Your work is reviewed by clinicians daily.

What you will do

1. 01Build data pipelines for OCR, entity extraction and normalisation of Indian prescriptions.
2. 02Fine-tune and evaluate LLMs on clinical tasks with rigorous offline metrics.
3. 03Own model serving, latency budgets and cost per inference in production.
4. 04Design evaluation harnesses with clinical advisors to prevent regressions.

What we look for

1. 013+ years building ML systems in production.
2. 02Strong Python and modern ML stack (PyTorch, HuggingFace, or equivalent).
3. 03Experience with LLM fine-tuning, retrieval, or structured generation.
4. 04Comfort deploying models behind low-latency APIs.

Bonus points

1. 01Medical NLP or biomedical dataset experience.
2. 02Familiarity with Indian pharmacopeia or ICD-10.
3. 03Published research or Kaggle track record.
